ABOUT (DATA STORAGE TESTING SYSTEMS) Mission Statement: In storage testing systems, to bring data storage manufacturers and their worldwide customers expert-level standardized and repeatable testing and qualification processes. Storage Testing Systems Evolution Flexstar was founded in 1981 to repair disk drives. It quickly established itself as an industry innovator. In storage testing systems, Flexstar became the first non-captive supplier. Flexstar introduced the industry’s first commercially available hard drive tester in 1985. For storage testing systems FLEXSTAR has continued to be the innovator in bringing advanced testing solutions to the data storage industry. Our storage testing systems focus is providing open architecture test solutions for design validation, quality/reliability, compliance/compatibility, and production applications. With a storage testing systems product family that ranges from turnkey to components, FLEXSTAR brings solutions to many of the leading hard disk drive manufacturers and PC OEMs. Our experience with a broad spectrum of customers, and our complimenting of the efforts of our customers’ internal test organizations, gives us the expertise to customize solutions to specific customer requirements.
